    Who We Are

BODYBAR Pilates is a fast-growing boutique fitness franchise delivering dynamic Pilates workouts through our signature BODYBAR Method—now in studios across the U.S. We’re on a mission to set the industry standard in how Pilates is taught and experienced, with a focus on strength, form, and most of all—CHEER. From the studio floor to the front desk, our team leads with positivity, passion, and purpose.

Our La Costa studio is thriving, and we’re expanding! Our second location in Vista will open in late February 2026. This role will oversee both studios and lead a team of 10–20 instructors across locations. The Fitness Manager will report directly to the Studio Manager and Owners for guidance, support, and accountability. This role will have a start dade of Mid January 2026.

    Who We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a hardworking, highly driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable—someone who isn’t afraid of early mornings, late evenings, or weekends, and can confidently step in when the unexpected happens. You’re just as comfortable coaching instructors 1:1 as you are connecting with members, planning community events, selling memberships, or analyzing studio performance. You genuinely love fitness and Pilates, lead by example, and are passionate about building a motivated, high-performing team.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Teach approximately 15 BODYBAR Pilates classes weekly with energy, consistency, and community focus

    • Provide 1:1 coaching, mentorship, and feedback to instructors to continuously elevate teaching quality

    • Create and manage the class schedule to balance client demand, instructor needs, and studio growth across two locations

    • Recruit, train, and develop instructors while fostering accountability and excellence

    • Support sales efforts by engaging with members, driving membership sales, and collaborating with the front desk team

    • Plan and execute local community events that strengthen member engagement and studio visibility

    • Build strong member relationships through personable interactions before, during, and after classes

    • Collaborate with studio leadership on growth initiatives, partnerships, and outreach

    • Track KPIs and analyze performance metrics to inform decisions and improve operations

    • Manage studio readiness, including equipment maintenance and operational needs

    • Foster a positive, team-first culture rooted in accountability, professionalism, and passion

    What You’ll Need to Succeed

    • One or more of the following: degree in Exercise Science or related field, accredited personal training or group fitness certification, or a 500-hour Pilates certification

    • At least 5 years of fitness industry experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role

    • Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team through direct feedback and mentorship

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

    • Proficiency with Google Workspace and ability to learn new systems quickly

    • Flexible, reliable, hardworking, and proactive—ready to step up when needed

    • A genuine passion for Pilates, fitness, and building community

    Perks of the Job

    • Free unlimited BODYBAR Pilates membership

    • Competitive pay (covering both La Costa & Vista studios) + performance-based bonuses

    • Opportunities for growth within a fast-growing brand

    • Discounts on BODYBAR apparel

    • Flexible scheduling to support work/life balance
