    • AllSearch Recruiting has a client that is a U.S.-based manufacturer that produces premium truck bodies designed for landscaping, hauling, construction, equipment distribution, and agriculture. They are looking for a Bodywork technician to join their team in Gallatin, TN.

    Responsibilities:

    • Grind, sand, file, and buff surfaces to ensure a smooth, defect-free finish.
    • Attach, align, and fit panels, and trim using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and welding equipment.
    • Carefully mask components, apply primers, and prepare surfaces for the paint department.
    • Inspect finished units for defects, including sags, runs, or unpainted areas, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards.
    • Perform metal finishing and welding as needed during the assembly process.
    • Adhere to established, time-sensitive production schedules and safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, PPE usage).
    • Apply final protective coatings.

    Qualifications:

    • 1+ years of experience in automotive bodywork, manufacturing, or a related trade (e.g., composites, plastics, construction).
    • Proficiency in using air tools, sanders, grinders, spray guns, and welders

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 20.00 - 30.00/hour range
    • 401k plan with 100% match up to 6% of salary (eligible after 1 year).
