    Job Description

    We are seeking a Cargo Wise Trainer to join our team! You will be responsible for the training of Bolloré Americas employees for successful deployment of the Cargo Wise through-out the zone Additional training and onboarding of new employees, as well as continuous or additional training of existing employees, both in person and via videoconferencing.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the implementation of the Cargo Wise training program
    • Develop and maintain standard training requirements, user guides, quizzes, lesson plans and SOP’s for the Cargo Wise or future organizational positions
    • Monitor operational training per department in relation to Cargo Wise and other Bolloré systems, ensuring progress on each is at expected levels
    • Conduct audits with M.O. Operations teams, providing guided training and webinars as needed
    • Support branch operations with best practices in TMS and related system
    • Optimize operational knowledge in the TMS and International Transportation industry (workflows, automated documentation, use of referential tools, Incoterms, basic FTR, CBP, TSA, BIS, DDTC, and FMC regulations, carrier capacities, etc.…) for all middle office employees
    • Review operational processes, including annual maintenance of training materials as required
    • Review Key Performance Indicators with branch operations to identify training gaps
    • Onboard and train new employees within branch operations

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    5+ years of work experience in the international transportation and logistics industry, with strong organizational skills, basic math skills and knowledge of geography, and Incoterms, and understanding of industry operations. Command of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

    • Proficiency in professional communications, both verbal and written, including command of the English language

    • Command of logistics industry language, terminology and knowledge, both air and sea, import and export

    • Wisetech Certification(s) renewed as required

    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

    • Ability to write business correspondence, employee training manuals and process manuals.

    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals holding various positions in the company

    • Coaching, training or teaching skills
