Job Introduction : We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Controller to oversee the Americas regional financial operations! Due to the high level of professional responsibility accorded to the person holding this position, we require extensive experience with sales, purchasing and marketing.

The Position:

The duties of Controller-Americas incorporate high level cognitive, analytical, logistics and interpersonal skills. The various duties of this position dictate that the individual serving in that capacity be fully conversant with business management, international sales, logistics, cost analysis, budgeting, statistical and research skills which can only be obtained by participating in a program of studies in the field of business administration.

It is a position that entails a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, and the individual holding this position exercises considerable discretionary authority and professional decision-making in a manner that substantially affects the conduct of our company’s current and future business operations in the Americas regional international area.

Requirements

• 1 – 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge on International Sales, Cost Analysis, Budgeting and Statistics.
• Technical skills: Operational know-how in airfreight/sea freight/logistics.
• Management Skills: People management and leadership and strategic planning skills.
• Speak fluent French in order to maintain contact with Headquarters to evaluate processes.
• Must possess good written and oral communication skills.
