    Job Description

    1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Ensures financial integrity of the management of the gross margin (revenue & cost) within the operation system:
      • Generates and communicates Exception Reports
      • Review of the unmatched Accruals
      • Review, analysis and reconciliation of the Credit Accruals
      • Monitoring of the WIPs
      • Additional ad hoc reports and projects
    • Works closely with the FP&A to define and build reporting / monitoring needs and tools.
    • Monitors and conducts monthly reviews with branches to understand the root cause of the non-performance, to propose the workable solution(s) with Regional OCs and RM to improve the Speed of Invoicing and Invoice Dispatch.
    • Assists the supplier & netting matching teams as well as local Finance relays to ensure timely, reliable, and accurate supplier invoice booking and payable transaction entry in TMS.
    • Approves credit notes issued by operations over $500 (level 2 & 3).
    • Participates in formalizing and defining operational accounting rules.
    • Provides support to different users if needed.
    • Participates in annual budget exercise, internal audit exercise.
    • Produces the activity reports or other ad-hoc reports requested by management.
    • Conducts on-site audits if required

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Equivalent to Degree holder in Finance, International Business Studies, MIS or any relevant qualification.
    • Min 5 years working experience, preferably related to Finance / Operations / in freight forwarding or logistic industry.
    • Excellent interpersonal communications skill to convince and negotiate at all levels. Critical thinking to deep dive and analyze the root cause.
    • Ability to draft procedure and able to implement.
    • Convincing leadership and management skill, multi-tasker, keen learner, and able to work independently and as part of team.
    • Possess strong business acumen, operational, financial and technical/system capabilities.
    • Good knowledge of Excel is a must, exposure to business intelligence tools (Cognos, Tableau) is a plus.
    • Professional in oral and written English.
    • Ability to travel (limited to 1 week max per occurrence with a minimum 2 weeks prior notice).

    Direct Reporting – Finance

    Functional Reporting – Regional OC Manager.
