    Bolst Scholars Program

    About Bolst: Finding the right real estate brokerage to build your career is one of the most important decisions you will make. Bolst is doing real estate differently.     About the Role: Fewer than 6% of all real estate professionals are Black according to the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau. That's why we've created the Bolst Scholars' Program.

    This program is a comprehensive program designed to fill the gap and provide Black and African American participants with the support needed to become successful real estate agents. This program covers the cost of licensure and training courses, Realtor dues and the required post licensing education. It will also provide necessary technology, a marketing and lead budget, practical training, business education and a real estate mentor. You'll have access to special events, additional training, teachers and so much more. We will teach you and give you all the tools, but it is up to YOU to put in the work to be successful. Applications will close August 31st and Scholars will be picked by September 29th.

    Requirements include:

    • At least 18 years or older
    • GED/High School Diploma
    • Black or African American
    • Current resident of Atlanta or surrounding metropolitan area
    • Reliable transportation
    • Willing and able to obtain a Georgia Real Estate License
    • Willing and able to attend pre-license real estate course in person October 9-20
    • Able to work out of the Bolst office to generate business
    • Have a strong work ethic and desire to be successful
    • Have excellent communication skills and ability to network to build your business
    • Ambitious, self-motivated, and goal-oriented

    Responsibilities:

    • Business development, networking, prospecting, lead generation
    • Maintain client database- reach out to friends and family, meet new people, make phone calls
    • Client representation
    • Guide and direct buyers and sellers through the buying and selling process
    • Property showings
    • Prepare documentation, contract management, negotiation
    • Work closely with Lenders, Inspectors, etc.
