Job Description

We are a small fitness supplier based in Houston, and are seeking a bright, motivated individual to fill an essential role within our business. This individual will be working in a team setting as a customer service representative, and a social media expert. We are currently expanding our business through the use of social media platforms, so it is essential that this individual is knowledgeable on social media.This position also requires doing sales in person or over the phone.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage large amounts of incoming calls
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
• Manage messages that we receive on our social media platforms
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
• Take the extra mile to engage customers
• Keep up with current trends in the fitness industry
• Post on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram

SKILLS:

• Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• High school degree

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 per hour + commission based on sales

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• 10-6pm
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
