Quality Engineer

Reports to Quality Manager

Location: Tuscaloosa

Summary of Duties: Must work to ensure product provides high level of quality that meets customer expectation. Must put in place a system to measure an organization’s performance and then report on its findings, liaising with managers and staff and coordinating to address any deficiencies, verifying the quality and performance of the products in addition to troubleshooting the rectification of any existing errors or defects. Responsible for analyzing the product under various working conditions and confirming that the product delivers its promise. Planning, implementing and maintaining quality standards for projects in line with quantity, quality, time schedule and cost targets. (requires travel approximately 20% of the time).

Requirements: Must have minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in quality control engineering, chemistry or related field (foreign equivalent education is acceptable).
