Clinical Director, Well Staffed Non-Profit
Full time Monday-Friday 9-5, extended hours availability required
Salary: $100,000 plus benefits

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide oversight and consultation on positive behavioral supports and other written documents
• ?Review all START related documentation and provide input
• Provide training and consultation to staff, families and providers including ongoing organization and conducting of CETs
• Assist START coordinators with preparation for START coordination certification
• Participate in recurring team meetings as necessary
• Develop behavior support plans as necessary for guests at the resource center who require more extensive safety measures
• Participate in discussion regarding resource center admissions
• Provide oversight of therapeutic groups/activities and onsite consultation as needed for guests receiving center based and/or mobile supports

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Psy. D or Ph.D. in psychology and licensed by NYS
• OR Master's degree in Mental Health, Psychology or Social Work (LCSW) and licensed by the NYS with a minimum of 7 years clinical experience working with the IDD/MI population
• SIFI certification required
• Extensive experience in intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), specifically with people who have IDD and mental health and/or challenging behavior needs
• Experience developing and implementing positive behavior support plans preferred
• Must be a certified START coordinator or have the ability to complete the START coordination certification process within 6-12 months of hire
• Travel to Staten Island location as needed
