Our client's location in Brooklyn is a licensed outpatient mental health clinic that provides services to all age groups from young children to adolescents and adults. We offer a full spectrum of services to address the social and emotional well-being of all individuals in a safe and nurturing culturally sensitive environment. With a staff fluent in English, Russian, Spanish, and Hebrew, we serve over 1,000 clients at any one given time. Treatment is offered in a wide range of therapeutic modalities through short term treatment models and psychiatric care. Therapists are equipped to address mental health needs related to trauma, depression, anxiety, domestic violence, substance abuse, and social isolation as well as other emotional health issues.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Social Work Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the provision of services, oversight of administrative processes, and clinical supervision of staff for the Program.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage client wait-list.
• Provide individual supervision to social work staff.
• Provide and supervise crisis management.
• Provide clinical and administrative coverage of clinic,
• Ensure compliance with Office of Mental Health (OMH) standards.
• Provide direct services to limited caseload.
• Other clinical and administrative duties, as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED:

• LCSW

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED / LANGUAGE PREFERENCE:

• Two years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical group, family and individual intervention skills required.
• Good organizational, team work and communicate skills needed.
• Must be familiar and knowledgeable of Orthodox Jewish community.
