The Emergency Department is a fast paced-dynamic department with a highly experienced team. The staff consist of physicians, registered nurses, technicians and health unit coordinators who are close knit and work exceptionally well together.

The department has over 10,000 visits a year and holds Time Sensitive Emergency designations in Trauma, Stroke and STEMI through the State of Idaho. Bonner General also participates in the tele-stroke program through Sacred Heart.

Our Health Unit Coordinators are an integral part of this department. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is looking for a challenging, yet exciting position. We are looking to add quick thinking, technically savvy and attention to detail people who can handle a rapid environment fueled by a steady stream of patients.

Education:
