    Department: Community Development Status: Full Time 80 hours pppShift: DaysCommunity Development is an integral, busy and multi-faceted department that encompasses, marketing, volunteers, community outreach and the BGH Foundation Board. The Volunteer Coordinator oversees and coordinates all aspects of Bonner General Health’s Volunteer Services programs. The Volunteer Coordinator’s responsibilities include providing direction, coordination, and consultation for all volunteer functions within Bonner General Health for BGH Volunteer Services, Chaplain Volunteer Services, Healing Garden Services, and Hospice Volunteer Services to:

    · Recruit and train new volunteers.

    · Keep records of volunteer information & skills, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills.

    · Keeps volunteers informed and conveying Bonner General Health’s mission, vision, and values to the public.

    Education Bachelor’s degree

    Experience: Three years of job-related experiences, such as working in a non-profit, managing volunteer programs, and leading teams.

    Demonstrates knowledge of management principles and evaluation techniques related to programs involving a cadre of volunteers.
