    Job Description

    Large national law firm is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for their Washington, DC office. As the Administrative Assistant, you will support the Office Manager and the Recruiting & Administrative Sr. Coordinator and should demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and maturity.

    The office is open, and staff is working a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. You will need to be in the office for 1 month for training. It is required that everyone be fully vaccinated before coming into the office and to provide proof of vaccination. The dress code is casual every day.

    Hours are 9:00 to 5:00.

    KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

    • An Associate’s Degree or higher.
    • At least 1-2 years of experience in a law firm environment.
    • Proficiency in MS office; knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
    • Outstanding organizational, administrative and communication (oral and written) skills.
    • Possess high attention to detail, a strong work ethic and is self-motivated.
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and efficiently multi-task.
    • Flexibility to adjust hours and work OT when necessary.

    SALARY:

    Non-exempt; $50,000 - $55,000 plus bonuses

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence.
    • Maintain various recruiting data charts with meticulous accuracy and timeliness.
    • Generate and compile recruiting stats as instructed.
    • Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
    • Schedule appointments and interviews.
    • Manage office security cards.
    • Accurately submit expense reports.
    • Assist with new hire orientations.
    • Act as liaison for the candidate once the interview is scheduled.
    • Assist with planning recruiting events and occasionally attend.
    • Maintain attorney and staff records.
    • Update administrative documents.
    • Assist with on-campus interviewing (OCI).
    • Other duties as assigned.
