About Us At The Caffeinated Accountant, we’re not your traditional, buttoned-up accounting firm. We’re fully remote (with just a splash of in-person when needed), built around white glove service, proactive communication, and treating clients like the VIPs they are. We specialize in full-service outsourced accounting — from bookkeeping and month-end close to CFO strategy and tax planning.
We believe accounting should be clear, caring, and yes — a little caffeinated.

About the Role We’re on the hunt for a detail-loving, client-first Bookkeeper based in the St. Louis area who’s just as comfortable reconciling accounts as they are building strong client relationships. This hybrid role is 75% remote and 25% in-person, depending on client and internal needs.
You'll work directly with the firm owner, taking full ownership of the bookkeeping function for multiple clients — including client communication, document collection, data entry, reconciliations, and month-end close. This is a client-facing position, so professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness are just as important as QuickBooks savvy.
But here’s the big difference: we don’t just hand over financials — we aim to deliver clear, timely, decision-ready numbers that help clients confidently run their businesses. We’re not historians of the past… we're storytellers of their present and future.
