Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will work in the Accounting department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to recording and verifying transactions, balancing books, some AP/AR, Compliance detail management, email management, and being able to prepare contractor payments if needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable working in-office in a high volume environment and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. The typical work schedule is 9-5, Mon-Fri. Pay is DOE, reflective of experience and relevant capabilities.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (Relevant experience considered)
Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Great with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
Has excellent computer proficiency, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
