Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant to support our collections team in various administrative an accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting administrative tasks and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient office operations and ensuring accurate reporting to clients and homeowners.
Responsibilities
Ensure assigned tasks are done accurately and on-time.
Correspond with clients, homeowners and vendors.
Process invoices and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Utilize Office Software to verify delinquent homeowner balances and account information
Process client disbursements
Perform 10 key typing for data entry and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes and improve efficiency.
Provide support for special projects as assigned by management.
Experience
Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Quicken, or other financial software is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of accounting and reconciliation processes.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively interact with team members and clients.
