    Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant – Full Time (On-Site)

    Our long-established modern furniture and design company is seeking a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to support daily accounting and office operations. If you are accurate, organized, and experienced in bookkeeping, this role offers a stable, long-term opportunity in a growing retail environment.

    Job Summary

    We are looking for a dependable Bookkeeper/Admin who can coordinate accounts payable and receivable, reconcile financial records, and support our team with clear communication and strong administrative skills. The ideal candidate has bookkeeping experience.

    Responsibilities

    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

    Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies

    Perform daily deposit reconciliation and maintain accurate financial logs

    Resolve customer and vendor account discrepancies in a timely manner

    Complete bank reconciliations and maintain financial records

    Support and maintain general ledger accuracy

    Prepare and reconcile monthly sales tax and commission reports

    Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal team members

    Use specialized furniture retail software (training provided)

    Provide administrative and office support for daily operations

    Qualifications

    2+ years bookkeeping preferred

    Knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial documentation

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    Proficiency in accounting or retail management software (we will train on industry-specific platforms)

    Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

    Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

    Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

    Retail or small-business experience is a plus
