Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our law firm. In this role, you will work closely with staff to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in bookkeeping.
Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions
Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
Analyze budgets and other financial information
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Complete required tax forms
Maintain trust accounts
Qualifications
Previous experience as a bookkeeper or similar position; law firm bookkeeping a plus
Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, TABS3, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
Knowledge of the TABS3 program is a plus
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
