Key Responsibilities: Manage finances for a portfolio of commercial and residential rental properties. Track income and expenses, including rent, late fees, and utility bills. Handle payables like taxes, mortgage payments, and vendor invoices using AppFolio. Collect receivables with the same software (AppFolio). We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. In this role, you will manage property expenses and oversee tenant payments. Additionally, you will provide outstanding customer service to both property owners and tenants by addressing their daily concerns. This position offers stability and a friendly, supportive work environment. Please note: This is not a remote job. Responsibilities: Oversee financial management for a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Monitor and record property income and expenses, including rent, late fees, and utility bills, to maintain a clear financial picture. Process payables, such as taxes, mortgage payments, and vendor invoices, in Appfolio to ensure seamless transactions. Handle receivables efficiently in Appfolio, ensuring all tenant payments are accurately recorded and tracked. Collaborate with property owners and tenants to address financial inquiries, fostering a transparent and supportive environment. Prepare detailed financial reports for property owners, offering insights and recommendations for financial optimization. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining the integrity of our financial practices and records. Qualifications: Experience in property management bookkeeping, focusing on both commercial and residential properties. Proficient in utilizing AppFolio or similar property management software to manage financial transactions. Capable of preparing detailed financial reports that provide insights and recommendations for optimizing finances. Demonstrated track record of maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple properties and financial tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with property owners and tenants. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and transactions. Compensation: $45,000 - $52,000 yearly
