About the Opportunity

As a Financial Services Specialist, you will manage full-cycle accounting functions for a portfolio of salon and spa clients, including month-end close, payroll processing, sales tax filings, and ongoing financial reporting. You will serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing regular communication and support to ensure their financials are accurate and delivered on time every month.

Key Responsibilities
Month-End Close: Manage the full month-end close process including bank and credit card reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, payroll breakdowns, sales and cost of sales entry, distributor invoice breakdowns, and general P&L organization.
Payroll & Tax Compliance: Process client payroll accurately and on schedule; handle sales tax filings and 1099 processing in a timely manner.
Cash Management: Monitor and manage cash flow activities on behalf of clients.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and related reports to ensure clients have a clear and accurate picture of their business finances.
Client Communication: Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients to provide support, answer questions, and keep financials on track each month.
General Accounting Support: Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned to support the team and clients.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred
3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience required
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required
Strong understanding of financial statements
Experience with payroll processing and sales tax filing a plus

What We Offer
Starting salary of $60,000–$65,000, depending on experience
Medical and Dental coverage (50% paid by the employer)
