Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper & Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Staff to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, inputting payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and a variety of scanning and admin duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in in a small office.
Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions
Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
Prepare trial balance, financials, and reports from Quickbooks
Analyze budgets and other company information
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable and collections
Complete required tax forms
Qualifications
1-3 Years Experience with QuickBooks
Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
Ability to work in a small office with flexibility and prioritization
