Job Title : Bookkeeper

Location : Livingston, NJ

About Us : Consumer packaging company with 40+ years experience providing first-rate primary packaging.

Description:

Bookkeeper needed: 5 years minimum experience to work with Chief Financial Officer of small consumer packaged goods (CPG) business. Responsibilities include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconcile bank balances daily, work with staff to have books ready to be closed monthly. Position will be working with Quickbooks and Excel.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with tax payments and returns, maintaining and filing requisite documents for taxation compliance, and collaborating with accountants to prepare trial balances and other financial statements.

Must be tech savvy, proficient in Excel, Word, Quickbooks enterprise version a plus and be comfortable working both alone and as a team member. Solutions oriented. Works hard and exceptionally diligent. No job too big or too small and confident in their work. Please apply.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Positive attitude
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education :

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in accounting or business administration are a plus [2].
