    Job Summary

    Come join a dynamic and growing Arizona family-owned business. KRUE Industrial seeks to add a growth-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper to our team. We offer a truly unique and fast-paced culture, a dedicated professional team, and a focus on long-term employment.

    In this role, you’ll handle everything from categorizing expenses to reconciling accounts. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate records and supporting smooth operations. You will work closely with the Controller to manage financial data and provide valuable insights. This is a new role. You are not replacing an established position, so flexibility is key.

    Responsibilities

    Manage and maintain accounts receivable and payable by accurately recording invoices, payments, and bills into QuickBooks.

    Account reconciliations to ensure they align with our financial records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

    Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements.

    File documents and maintain files.

    Computer and software skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel.

    General office support.

    Qualifications

    Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience (consecutive at one workplace).

    QuickBooks experience is required.

    Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.

    Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.

    Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and client interactions.

    Strong documentation skills.

    Positive attitude, willingness to take ownership, and pride in the quality of their work.

    Self-starter.

    Willingness to take on new projects.

    Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position.

    Computer and software skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel.

    Must be able to pass a background check.

    Salary Depends on experience

    Benefits: Offered to full-time positions only We offer one week of paid time off after the first 90 days. Health, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days. 401K matching after one year. 3 days of sick leave per year.
