    Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the financial and operational functions of our business. This role is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, customer billing, collections, deposits, and cash handling, while also assisting with new hires, employee separations, light HR support, and day-to-day operational needs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable balancing accounting, administrative, and operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and timely

    Prepare and send customer invoices and monitor payment status

    Follow up on outstanding balances and assist with collections efforts

    Process payroll and maintain related records

    Handle deposits, cash receipts, and cash-related recordkeeping

    Maintain accurate financial data in QuickBooks Online and related systems

    Support new hire onboarding and employee separations

    Provide HR and administrative support

    Assist with operational tasks and special projects to support daily business needs

    Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal team members regarding billing, payment, and operational matters

    Maintain organized digital and financial records and help ensure accuracy of documentation

    Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for staff

    Qualifications

    Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, office management, or a similar role

    Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing, and collections

    Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Outlook, ADP, Google Sheets, and related office systems

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records

    Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

    Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across finance, administrative support, and operations

    Ability to handle sensitive financial and employee information with confidentiality

    Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience may be considered

    Schedule

    Monday through Friday, no nights or weekends
