We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.
Responsibilities:
- Process financial documents related to client invoices, client payments, vendor invoices, bill payments, loan payments, and related items
- Manage client receivables and vendor payable accounts
- Maintain a digital record of financial transactions, documents, and supplier information
- Process cash receipts and prepare periodic bank deposits
- Maintain an organized filing system and ordering office supplies
- Assists in the preparation of various financial and administrative reports
- Assists with payroll data entry
- Communicates with clients and staff, answering the telephone, checks the phone systems, transfer calls, and takes messages
- Attend office meetings and works as a team member
- Support supervisors and managers with clerical and receptionist tasks
- Other office related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience: One year or more experience working as a financial administrative assistant or related position required
- Preferred Education: Associates degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related college level studies
- Skills: Working knowledge in QuickBooks and Excel required. Proficient in using a 10-key calculator, copiers, telephone systems, and other office tools
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency in mind
- Excellent analytical skills and financial competence
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High levels of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
