Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded promptly. • Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are addressed swiftly. • Prepare monthly financial reports to provide insights into the firm's financial health. • Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses to align with financial goals. • Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all financial practices. • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Qualifications: • Experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably with a professional services firm. • Ability to maintain accurate financial records with meticulous attention to detail. • Proven track record of reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies efficiently. • Proficiency in preparing monthly financial reports to provide actionable insights. • Ability to assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses effectively. • Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely transactions. • Experience with QuickBooks desktop. Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly
