Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) is looking for a Bookkeeper & Payroll Associate.

Position Purpose:

Responsible for managing the payroll and bookkeeping department by performing payroll processing, financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and client support activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

• Assist with processing payroll.
• Review payroll data for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter employee earnings, deductions, benefits, and payroll changes.
• Generate payroll reports and assist with payroll reconciliations.
• Support quarterly and year-end payroll reporting activities, including W-2 preparation.
• Respond to payroll-related client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Enter and maintain client financial records.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support preparation of financial reports and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized work papers and supporting documentation.
• Other duties as assigned

As an ideal candidate to join the AVTECH team, you will meet the following:

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and general ledger accounting
• Hands-on experience with financial statements, general ledger accounting, payroll processing, payroll tax deposits, and filing payroll forms with the IRS and state agencies
• ****Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
• Clear, professional communication skills
• Authorized to work in the United States
