Responsibilities: • Supervise day-to-day financial dealings and keep records accurate • Oversee compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations • Generate financial reports and deliver them to stakeholders for insightful decisions • Discover process optimization opportunities and execute effective bookkeeping practices • Verify the accuracy of bank statements and accounts through regular reconciliation • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records • Process weekly payroll and maintain payroll records • Handle accounts payable and receivable • Reconcile bank and credit card statements • Assist with hiring paperwork, onboarding, and employee files • Maintain HR documentation and compliance • Track employee time and benefits information • Assist ownership with basic financial reporting Qualifications: • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline • Proven detail-oriented and organized work ethic • Minimum of five years in a bookkeeping role • Strongly favor candidates with Bookkeeper or analogous certification • Familiarity with accounting tools such as QuickBooks is beneficial • Previous bookkeeping experience required • Experience with payroll processing • Familiarity with HR tasks such as onboarding and employee records • Strong organizational and communication skills • Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred) • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly
