Position Location
This full-time role is based at our Bradenton office
Key Responsibilities
Verify HR-reported work hours, reconcile timesheets, and resolve any discrepancies.
Submit approved hours to our payroll company on scheduled pay cycles.
Prepare and file sales tax returns for all applicable jurisdictions, ensuring timely submittal and payment.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and clearing any outstanding items.
Maintain and track compliance licenses and permits for FDA, DOT, and OSHA, including renewals, filings, and audits.
Manage the general ledger and produce monthly profit and loss statements, supporting financial close processes.
Calculate sales commissions based on agreed schedules and communicate results to sales leadership.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated industry.
Proficiency with Excel.
Solid understanding of payroll workflows, sales tax regulations, and bank reconciliation procedures.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
