Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our Baystone Depot showroom located in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will work closely with the Accounting department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. Responsibilities
Enter financial data and transactions
Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
Analyze budgets and other financial information
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Complete required tax forms
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree or associate degree in accounting or a related field is preferred
Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
