    General Job Description

    Bookkeeping Assistant assists with daily bookkeeping, accounts payable, assistance with end-of-month close/reconciliation, and other related duties as assigned. This team member will work closely with and report directly to the Accounting Manager.

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Assist in daily accounts payable activities,
    • Prepare commission payments Perform data entry
    • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports
    • Correspond with vendors to facilitate timely payments; correct errors
    • Assist in processing key expense statements/reimbursements for payments
    • Make bank deposits
    • Process vendor payments and check requests
    • Perform office administrative duties as requested

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
    • Strong time management and prioritization skills
    • Ability to accurately process and record a large volume of numerical data
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written or oral form
    • Proficiency with MS Office and email
    • Ability to communicate well, both written and orally
    • Strong customer service skills
