Job Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeping Manager to oversee our financial recordkeeping while also supporting day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both doing the work and leading a small team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily bookkeeping operations across multiple accounts/entities
Perform hands-on bookkeeping tasks, including transaction entry, reconciliations, and reporting
Review and ensure accuracy of work completed by bookkeepers
Train, support, and manage a team of bookkeepers (including VAs, if applicable)
Develop and maintain clear processes and documentation for financial workflows
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Coordinate with leadership on financial reporting, budgets, and insights
Identify opportunities to improve systems, efficiency, and organization
Qualifications:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (3+ years preferred)
Experience managing or supervising others strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in bookkeeping QuickBooks online
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience preferred with real estate and family entertainment domains, but not required
