    Job Description

    Position Summary

    The Front End Developer will be responsible for developing web site applications which allow information and content to be displayed in a format which is easy to read and relevant to the user when visiting and navigating online web pages.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Maintains website content through the updating, testing, publishing and manipulating of existing source code.
    • Ensures online content is stable and fully functioning. Reviews website malfunctions in the production phase to correct programming bugs prior to deployment as well as with back end developers to address web site performance.
    • Utilizes programming languages to develop and transform static content in to dynamic applications which respond to user events/inputs.
    • Collaborate closely with small, cross-functional teams of designers and developers to update features and applications.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Art or related field required. Commensurate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Front End Developer, Web Developer or Web Production Artist in either in an in-house creative or agency environment or technology department.
    • Expertise with HTML 5, CSS 3 and in Adobe Creative Cloud Applications – Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design and Acrobat on a Mac Platform required.
    • Experience with Java, JavaScript programming language, along with Angular and React frameworks, required.
    • Familiarity with current and emerging trends related to mobile application development and responsive design.
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multi projects.
    • Proven ability to work in fast paced environment with tight deadlines while being detail orientated.
    • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Self-Starter who that is a strong team player and successful collaborator and takes ownership.
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
