Occupational Summary:

This position is an entry level Analyst that will support the Financial Services Department in providing professional accounting and financial-related advisory services to investor-owned utility companies, municipal utilities, and electric cooperatives. Skills include:

Updating and building Excel models,

Researching utility industry topics,

Prepare utility rate comparisons,

Prepare technical financial and rate-related reports,

Prepare presentations.

This position reports to the Manager of Financial Services.

Position requirements include:

Must be organized and detail oriented.

Must be able to work independently and part of a team.

Must be able to manage time across multiple projects.

Must be able to develop and input data in worksheets, retrieve and manipulate data used for billing, load forecasting, financial planning, and engineering.

Must be able to understand, develop, and provide comparisons of alternate rate design options.

Minimum Qualifications:

Utility experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or mathematics.
