E-COMMERCE PHOTOGRAPHER
Bootlegger’s Corporate Office is relocating to Winnipeg! We are excited to be sharing an office space with our affiliated companies, Warehouse One, Ricki’s, and Cleo. The Bootlegger team is looking for outgoing, highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team of retail and fashion professionals in creating great products that generate excitement and loyal, raving fans!
Bootlegger is currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated eCommerce Photographer to support our eCommerce business. The eCommerce Photographer will be responsible for photographing and editing all product photography for display on our eCommerce site. We’re looking for an individual who demonstrates a passion for e-commerce, photography and photo editing, as well as graphic design.
More specifically, our eCommerce Photographer is responsible for…
coordinating merchandise samples through the production/photographic process
organizing and tracking monthly product samples for product photography
communicating with our eCommerce Manager on a daily/weekly basis
liaising with our Merchandising team to obtain product samples
editing product photography as per existing brand guidelines
presenting Bootlegger’s product in a manner that is visually appealing
ensuring the merchandise/samples are prepped, processed and returned to the buying team in an efficient and timely manner
evaluating, prioritizing, and managing time according to eCommerce business needs
initiating procedural and qualitative efficiencies that would benefit our ecommerce business
supporting our social media specialist with any photographic or graphic design requirements
other graphic design duties as required
Qualifications: Bootlegger is looking for an individual to fill this role who…
has hands on experience with studio photography and has a strong understanding of studio lighting; experience with apparel photography and styling is considered an asset
has hands on experience with image editing using the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Lightroom and Photoshop) and FTP; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; competency using HTML and CSS is considered an asset.
ideally has 1+ years’ experience in website content development or working in an ecommerce organization
is able to evaluate photography or graphic design and utilizes 'best practices' for presenting web content
is generally knowledgeable of web standards, browser compatibility issues, and accessibility issues
is able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
is detail orientated and exceptionally organized; has the ability to filter and prioritize requests
has excellent communication skills
exhibits ongoing quality assurance, proofing and editing of the site to ensure the most accurate product imagery is reflected
is collaborative with an ability to work with a variety of personalities
supportive and a team player; able to jump in and help the larger Bootlegger team when needed
is passionate about retail (experience preferred), specifically ecommerce in today’s marketplace
