    Job Description

    SUMMARY:

    The Human Resource Coordinator will support the daily functions of the Human Resource department including hiring and interviewing staff, management of system data and input, benefits, and leave, HR compliance, unemployment claims and enforcing company policies.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations, and update HRIS as needed.
    • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
    • Answer employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, and other HR related topics.
    • Collaborate with RPO regarding candidate pre-boarding process.
    • Upload driver new hire documents for all employees into system.
    • Process and respond to all unemployment claims in a timely manner as well as complete employment verifications as needed.
    • Ensure all employee communication boards contain the most relevant and current information.
    • Update HRIS system as needed.
    • Process invoices.
    • Provide HR Support for other company locations as needed.
    • Assist HRBP with various HR audits as needed.
    • Assist HRBP with administrative tasks as needed.
    • Assists HRBP with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, retirement celebrations, etc.
    • Special projects as directed by HR Director.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years significant, direct, and practical Human Resources experience, preferably in food/beverage, consumer products, logistics or manufacturing industry.
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to occasionally include early mornings and/or evenings

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    •  PHR/SHRM-CP preferred
