Our company is looking for an experienced and motivated Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team! We are seeking a proficient individual to contact our clients and collect outstanding payments. It is essential to strike a balance between maintaining trustful relationships and ensuring timely payments. Our Collection Specialist should exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as an aptitude to work independently. Responsibilities Monitor all accounts. Follow-up with clients on overdue accounts collect to outstanding payments. Develop effective repayment plans by researching and implementing effective collection techniques. Process all customer payments. Respond to client account queries in a timely and professional manner. Provides customers with required documentation including copies of invoices, proof of deliveries, credit memos and statement of account. Documents all conversations, collection activity and payment arrangements. Provides the organization with monthly cash forecasting figures. Perform all administrative duties related to ensuring office efficiency. Keeps sensitive information confidential. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent communication and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail. General knowledge of accounting principles. Credit, collections and or accounts receivable experience. Ability to communicate and collaborate within a team environment. Enthusiastic, positive person who embraces work with a sense of urgency and persistence Comfortable working with targets. Patience and ability to manage stress. Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Education and Experience Associates and/or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Finance or Accounting preferred. 2+ years of experience relevant to managing customer relationships and/or credit and collections preferred.
