>Position: Industrial Electrician
Responsible for the installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all electrical equipment and related instrument process controls in order to meet safety, production, quality and environmental standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining low and medium voltage motors, drives, switchgear, transformers, metering and controls.
- Ability to cross-train in instrumentation.
- Moderate to high physical exertion – up to 85% of time spent walking, standing, climbing, bending or stooping. Work is done in elevated as well as confined spaces, and indoor and outdoor environments.
- This position reports to the instrument/electrical maintenance supervisor
Education & Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience as a journeyman or completion of approved apprenticeship program relative to skill.
- Reading, writing and math skills comparable to a high school education.
- Works with AC voltage ranges 14.4kv, 4160v, 460v, 208v, and 250vdc
- Instrumentation experience is highly desired
Schedule:
Monday-Friday day shift, plus overtime and call-outs as required to support production.
The salary is $34.58/hour plus full benefits commencing on date of hire, including healthcare, 401(k), PTO leave, vacation, and 10 paid holidays/year.
