The Borough of Hatboro is now accepting applications for the position of Full Time Public Works Laborer.
Full Time Public Works Laborer generally collects trash or recyclables on a daily basis. Full Time Laborers are also required to perform routine parks/facility maintenance, street/traffic light maintenance, stormwater maintenance, etc.
Full time laborers work as part of a crew of laborers to complete tasks and falls under the supervision of a senior employee or the Public Works Foreman.
The Hatboro Public Works Department maintains approximately 50 lane miles of local roadways, including snow removal, and provides additional services at State-owned roads. Additionally, the department is responsible for approximately 30 acres of active and passive parks, and provides for the twice-weekly curbside collection of waste and recyclable materials. The Department maintains Borough-owned facilities, including Borough Hall, Police Station and a municipal pool complex, services street lights and traffic signals, inspects, cleans and repairs stormwater infrastructure.
