We are hiring an aspiring CIVIL TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER_ for an INTERNSHIP OR CO-OP_ experience in the spring of 2023.  THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED AT THE WILKES- BARRE OR LEHIGH VALLEY OFFICE.

 WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Must have interest in transportation highway or bridge design
• Highway DOT and Turnpike work
• Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, permits, and designs for various projects.
• Assists with the preparation of designs and plans under close supervision using computer aided design and civil/survey engineering software packages or conventional methods
• Prepares design computations and quantity estimates under the direction of an experienced designer

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Experience in transportation, strength of material or structural course work
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to effectively communicate

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT?

• Experience with Microstation and/or Bentley Suites OpenRoads Designer
• Previous engineering co-op/experience a plus
• American Society Highway Engineers or American Society Civil Engineers Student Chapter membership
