    Job Description

    Join our dynamic Vertical Market Strategy Team that is responsible for driving innovation and digital business models in Video System Software & Solutions.  We are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious intern who has a passion for technology to support marketing communications and event coordination activities for the Intelligent Traffic Solutions (ITS) vertical team.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Assist with social media marketing by creating marketing posts for our Intelligent Traffic Solutions (ITS) vertical and monitoring social media platforms
    • Create datasheets and other marketing materials related to ITS products
    • Trade show and event support: overall planning and coordination of attendees from the ITS team; supporting the ordering & delivery of literature, printed materials, and other giveaways; manage the CRM lead generation application
    • Distribute communications and marketing materials to internal stakeholders and external customers
    • Coordinate and communicate webinar information related to the ITS vertical
    • Support ITS team with a tracking and organization mechanism for customer demo products
    • Assist from a technical standpoint with testing activities of software platform

    Flexible schedule and hours, with hybrid (combination in-person & remote) work arrangement

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Commutable to Fairport, NY (in-person work required)
    • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program – business administration, marketing, innovation management, business informatics, industrial or traffic engineering
    • Completed at a minimum 2 years of study in one of the above curricula
    • Must be able to commit to a minimum internship duration of 3-9 months
    • The ideal candidate brings excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, and ideally first experience in business analysis or innovation management
    • U.S. work authorization required. Bosch Security Systems, LLC. does not offer sponsorship for interns.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous experience in a professional work environment preferred
    • Ability to think analytically and to summarize and communicate important data and information
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and to act responsibly with entrepreneurial mindset
    • Ability to work independently
    • Solid organizational skills, including prioritization and time management
    • Strong interpersonal, written and oral skills
    • Problem solving skills
