Business Development Manager - Security Systems - Government Vertical
Job Description
In this role, you are responsible for developing strategies, action plans, and relationships to influence the specification and purchase of Bosch product offerings within the assigned vertical market of GOVERNMENT.
This position will be tasked to build and foster strategic relationships and alliances with key decision makers, fuel brand awareness and expand market share with end-users, primes, and key integration partners for government applications. The role of Business Development Manager will require you to be a subject matter expert in technology integration to include VMS platforms, access control systems, intrusion and fire solutions.
THIS IS A NATIONAL ROLE; AS A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, YOU WILL WORK REMOTELY (HOME OFFICE), AND CAN ANTICIPATE TRAVEL ACROSS THE US OF APPROXIMATELY 50-70%. LOCATION OF HOME OFFICE IS FLEXIBLE - ANYWHERE IN THE US, WITH THE ABILITY TO TRAVEL ON A REGULAR BASIS.
Qualifications
Requires 3-5 years Security industry (IP video) experience, working with customers, preferably from the manufacturer level. 5+ years preferred.
PAST/CURRENT EXPERIENCE WITHIN DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE AND DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY HIGHLY DESIRED. Experience with systems integration, AI, predictive analytics, and program management in government applications a plus. Project performance, support, and a verifiable relationships with key stakeholders in government including end users, integrators, primes, and consultants. This is a customer facing position requiring a high degree of professionalism, communication skills, and a passion for driving innovation.
Additional Information
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$160,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
