    Job Description

    The Automotive Service Solutions division is seeking a dynamic student for a six month co-op internship opportunity working within our Strategic Marketing team. The Strategic Marketing Intern will gain deeper insight into business-unit product marketing, controlling and reporting, specifically related to Diagnostic and Service solutions for Original Equipment (OE) and Independent Aftermarket. They will become well-versed in company directives and polices, get deeply involved in processes regarding product strategy and will present findings to improve existing processes within the organization. The Strategic Marketing Intern will develop real world research and reasoning skills, presentation ability toward different levels of the business unit organization, and provide deeper topical knowledge useful in future career development. The Intern will also learn about Market Trends and Analysis, Market Approach, Product Segment Strategy, Competitor Benchmarking, System/Worksheet Audits, Communication skills, and Microsoft Office Tools PowerPoint and Excel specifically.  There may be a small amount of learning on Voice of Customer (UX), and general Project management topics as well. 


    Essential Functions of this Co-Op Internship Include:

    1. Monthly Product performance reports to Product Management.
    2. Error finding and data integrity improvements of global reporting system.
    3. Creation of Competitor Profiles. Co-Owner of related Bosch Connect Community. 
    4. Creation of presentations on Product strategy for BU and BBM leadership.  
    5. Maintenance of Sales simulation by Product Segment/Region/Channel. 
    6. Project Support - Coordination, gathering, and presentation of deliverables for intangible service  offerings; including Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition, Customer Journeys and Personas, Workshop Interviews, Work Package management with Program Managers and Engineers, etc.
    7. Creation of process documentation as needed.
