Identify and support implementation of cost savings initiatives related to materials, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage. Industry 4.0 solutions.
Support/Drive quality initiatives throughout warehouse using quality tools, e.g. FMEA, 14Q Basics, 8Ds
Support/Drive corrective action implementation from audit findings or customer complaints
Lean Warehousing Special Project Support
Support of special projects and new business management
Support material addition to warehouse (NDR)
Continued support and check standardization work in production area
Support CIP project like Cycle time reduction, H/C reduction in warehouse area
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Packaging
In lieu of degree 10+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations or related field required.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Strong knowledge of ERP systems; SAP preferred.
Experience having been through IATF or ISO audits
Experience utilizing problem solving techniques
Familiar with World Class Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing and basic problem-solving tools
Able to perform basic layout work in AutoCAD
Should possess skills to drive results, handle change-management, and achieve/exceed targets and goals.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred experience with SAP ERP
Preferred experience in audit support/coordination
Demonstrate discipline and consistency regarding adherence to standards, policies and procedures.
Ability to delegate, multi-task, lead groups, and communicate effectively.
Ability to work on cross-functional teams with a high degree of self-initiative.
Must be willing to work flexible schedules.
