    Job Description

    As a Lead Motion Designer of Performance Content and Creative, you are passionate about digital media and the power of storytelling. You will report to the Creative Director of Content & Creative and collaborate with our internal partners in Client Services, Social Media, SEO, Display, and Search to develop dynamic creative solutions that drive business performance for our partners.

    The Lead Motion Designer will develop motion content across a wide variety of clients in multiple industries including; fashion, hospitality, retail, finance, pharmaceuticals, communications and consumer products. This role partners with Lead Art Directors and Lead Copywriters in maintaining the design intent and creative integrity throughout the entire process. From creative strategy, concept, presentation, approval and execution, the Lead Motion Designer will have a hand in shaping and delivering inspiring work while being diplomatic and solution oriented with internal partners. The ideal candidate will understand the balance between thoughtful and groundbreaking creative that connects with an audience across all channels.

    • While you will often work with the CD or Art Directors and Copywriters the ideal candidate should be able to generate strong strategic concepts.
    • Be able to produce without storyboards.
    • Work with existing assets to reimagine, scale, and repurpose across channels.
    • Demonstrate the nuances of paid social channels, youtube, and seo-centric video.
    • Take work from concept to design to final execution on time, and on budget
    • Present creative work to clients/team members/internal stakeholders

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years creative experience on a content marketing, advertising or digital media team
    • Category experience in CPG marketing preferred
    • Know how to execute motion in social media - organic and paid, display and on-site seo-centric video.
    • Proven experience in motion templates.
    • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, or other creative tools. C4D is not required, but a plus.
    • Ability to incorporate feedback and take/give clear direction
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    • Impeccable organizational skills
    • Relentless desire to stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple work streams, and deliver on tight deadlines
