Job Description

THIS INTERNSHIP WILL BE PARTIALLY REMOTE BUT THE HIRED APPLICANT WILL BE EXPECTED TO COME INTO THE MOUNT PROSPECT OFFICE. ONLY LOCAL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

The internship will support the Retail Marketing function within Dremel for both the Rotary and DIY business teams.  The intern would assist in a variety of marketing activities to support the sales team in all channels of distribution.  Activities would include, price file management, promotional planning, financial analysis, new item setup and planogram analysis.  Channel Marketing Managers will work closely with this individual to ensure they are able to work independently on channel initiatives.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited marketing program or graduated within the past six months
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
• Proficiency in MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Previous internship experience preferred
• Must be able to successfully complete a drug and background screen pre-employment
• Position only open to students who will not now, nor in the future require sponsorship to work in the United States
