Job Description
The Supply Chain Services Intern in Purchasing and Purchasing Quality should be proactive in establishing relationships with counterparts in Marketing, Sales, IT, Planning Logistics, Physical Logistics, Accounting, and Other Departments.
Key tasks will include the following:
- Support in Supplier Back Log tracking (coordination with Logistics Planning LOP team and the supply base). Includes Data gathering and root cause analysis to resolve the back log issues
- Support in Warranty reporting for PUQ (Purchasing Quality). Includes coordination of data already available and putting into good reporting format for Leadership team to review on a regular basis
- Support in developing a pareto for planned and unplanned tasks in Packaging materials procurement (PUR) and planning (LOP) to define consolidated and efficient actions for the cross functional team members
- Support to create a database for Packaging materials drawings to push the organization (MBL) for complexity reduction by design and application
- Support to streamline core purchasing ordering tasks from an automation perspective
