Manufacturing Engineering Intern- Spring Semester
Job Description
Learn how to establish manufacturing rates, routings and assist in the process of sourcing the parts and components.
Assist in the development of proposals and justification for new/replacement capital equipment and provide technical assistance to bring equipment on line with cost and timing requirements.
Assist in the development of new manufacturing processes or changes along with Manufacturing Engineering utilizing BPS methodologies.
Support with the implmentation of Industry 4.0 in the defined manufacturing area.
Working with QMM, determine internal quality procedures and implement in manufacturing.
Assess possible bottleneck situations in production process.
Provide feedback (CIP) to all related areas including Machining, Assembly, Test and/or QMM.
Participate in BPS Kaizen events both within and outside your area.
Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in a field of study relevant to the business
3.0 GPA or higher
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must be a team player
Must be able to successfully complete a drug screen and a background check
