Job Description

The Bosch Research and Technology Center in Sunnyvale, CA is looking for an outstanding student in engineering to help with the development of optimization algorithms for battery management systems for Lithium-ion batteries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Formulation and implementation of optimization algorithms for model parametrization, operating constraints optimization, and battery pack utilization
• Generation, processing, and analysis of test data in MATLAB
• Presentation of the obtained results

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

• Currently enrolled PhD student in ME, EE, Math, Stat, CS or related fields with knowledge and experience in optimization methods
• Expertise in MATLAB
• Good mathematical background
• Good communication skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATION:

• Knowledge of Lithium-ion batteries is a plus, but not required
• Expertise in control systems is a plus but not necessary
