Develop a collaborative partnership directly with the local and global engineering teams working on in vehicle sensing device.
Support development team with root cause analysis studies.
Support acquisition team with creating 3D models and 2D drawings using Catia and NX.
Perform mechanical tolerance stack ups for development and acquisition teams.
Create and upload customer drawings in NX/Teamcenter.
6. Perform engineering feasibility studies in CAD.
7. Support data acquisition activity.
Qualifications
Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
Demonstrate DIY automotive experience preferably infotainment related.
3-D CAD Experience of creating models and 2D detail drawings (Catia and NX preferred).
Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal team members.
Basic knowledge of infotainment components such as clusters and center displays.
Understanding of how to read and interpret Bills of Materials.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Must have a valid drivers license.
First robotics experience preferred.
Availability to work minimum 20 hours/week during normal working hours
